FOCUS Carer Support Scheme - Befriending and Mentoring

If you’re looking after someone in Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, the FOCUS Carer Support Scheme is here to help you feel supported, understood and less alone.

This free service, funded by BCP Council and delivered by PramaLife, offers:

Befriending and Mentoring

  • Befriending: Connect with a friendly volunteer who understands what it’s like to be a carer. They’ll offer regular phone calls or in-person chats to provide companionship and a listening ear.
  • Mentoring: For more tailored support, experienced carers can offer practical advice and emotional guidance to help you navigate your caring role.

Whether you’re new to caring or have been doing it for years, FOCUS is here to support you.
