Carers Support Groups and Drop-in Sessions
We offer a range of friendly groups and drop-in sessions where you can connect with others, get information, and take time for yourself.
You’re welcome to come along to whichever feels right for you.
Carers support groups
Our support groups are relaxed and welcoming spaces where you can meet other carers and share experiences if you want to.
They’re open to carers who are registered with BCP Carer Support.
Poole carers group
- When: First Monday of each month, 10:30am to 12:30pm
- Where: Leonardo Carer Support, Anne van Brussel House, Unit 1, Albany Business Park, Cabot Lane, Poole, BH17 7BX
- Run in partnership with Leonardo Carer Support
Boscombe carers group
- When: Third Wednesday of each month, 12pm to 2pm
- Where: The Garden Rooms Café, 118 Haviland Road, Boscombe, BH7 6HW
Booking: Places are limited so everyone feels comfortable. Please get in touch to book.
Carers drop-in sessions
Our drop-in sessions are a chance to have a one-to-one conversation with a member of our team.
You can:
- ask questions
- get information or advice
- talk about what matters to you in your caring role
You do not need to book. You can stay for as long or as little time as you like.
These sessions are open to all carers in BCP, including those not registered with us.
Bournemouth drop-in
- When: Second Wednesday of each month, 9:30am to 11:30am
- Where: Pavilion Café, Slades Farm Park, Ensbury Avenue, Bournemouth, BH10 4HG
Christchurch drop-in
- When: First Tuesday of each month, 1:30pm to 3:30pm
- Where: The Courtyard Room, Red House Museum and Gardens, Quay Road, Christchurch, BH23 1BU
Poole drop-in
- When: First Monday of each month, 1:30pm to 3:30pm
- Where: Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, 56 Longfleet Road, Poole, BH15 2JD
