The MYTIME Young Carers Employability Project is a project for young/young adult carers aged 16 to 25. It takes place for 6 weeks, and their School Support Programme Manager and Employability Advisor, Emma, work with our young carers to explore career opportunities that might interest them, help them produce a professional CV, develop interview skills, and identify opportunities for work experience.

The Carers Trust have produced the handbook, ‘Getting into Work: a Guide for Young Adult Carers in England’. This gives young adult carers information and advice about how to overcome difficulties they may face in finding and staying in exployment, applying jobs, and balancing work with a caring role.
